In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents in 1978, Salisbury University students and teachers collected folk life material. For this collection, Mary Anne Ross interviewed some prospective participants for the Maryland Folklife Festival of 1978. Her informants included a quilt maker, a blacksmith, a beaten biscuit maker and a pottery maker. This collection includes an essay on the field study, a few pictures, a tape of the interviews, and other documents.
